What Careers Do Lawyers Most Commonly Transition To?

After a long hiatus from making videos for YouTube, I recently decided to make one that answers a question I’m asked multiple times a week: “what career path do lawyers most commonly transition to?”

Helping you explore the wide variety of alternative careers for lawyers is what this site is all about. As you poke around JDCOT, you’ll find the short and full-length versions of all of the video interviews mentioned in the video above.

Remember when exploring new careers to always think about what fits you – not what’s most popular. Matching your skills, talents, interests and goals to the realities of a career path will lead you to a more fulfilling situation than chasing what best fits others.

Self-reflection is essential to finding that alignment with a career path. If you had researched and sought this alignment years ago, would you still have chosen your current career situation?

Making a career change takes work. It doesn’t just happen. To help you break down the process, I recorded a live webinar presentation recently. Check it out by clicking the image below:

This free workshop on “How to Transition from Law to Fulfilling Alternative Careers” will provide you with actionable tips you can start doing right away. Set aside around 1 hour to watch.

If you like what you learn in the presentation, you’ll love my JD Refugee® class, which takes everything to the next level. But one step at a time! Check out the presentation and always feel free to contact me if you have questions.
